Samson & Gert

Samson & Gert is a Flemish TV series for children, produced by Studio 100. It debuted in 1990. However they already were on TV around Christmas in 1989 as announcers. As from 2005, no new episodes are being made, 2 specials aside. The show is about a guy and his talking dog that - together with some visiting neighbors - get into all kinds of situations.

Samson en Gert Kerstverhalen (TV Series 2009)

Created by Hans Bourlon, Ward De Graeve, Vera Gheysels. With Gert Verhulst, Peter Thyssen. In each episode, Gert tells, seated under the Christmas tree, with some additions by Samson, a short story they experienced, usually wintry or otherwise Christmas-related. Illustrations are shown on screen from the cartoon which originally published the adventure.

Although to lazy to do any work, she gets 'rival' Van Leemhuizen fired, so she can have his job. When the major presents her to everybody, she only makes enemies by rudely insulting them all.

Samson & Gert is a Flemish children's television series produced by Eline van Noppen, centered on the talking dog Samson and his owner Gert. In its entire run, the show was originally aired on TV1 from Christmas Day 1989 until 1 December 1997, where it moved to Ketnet and continues airing all of its episodes to this day. Samson en Gert (Dutch for "Samson and Gert") is a hugely popular Flemish children's program that ran from 1990 until 2005. A movie was made in 2008, along with a Christmas special. In 2010, a 20 year anniversary special was made. In 2014 and 2017, respectively, two spin-off winter and summer series were produced.
